2027 Residency
Everyone Has a Different Starting Line
No two people walk into Experience Residencies from the same place.
What each one needs from the program is different. One is ready to go deep on a specialty. One knows the tools but has never worked inside a professional team. While another has the skill and needs to learn how the business actually runs. Same cohort. Every one of them starting somewhere different.
A single fixed program would put most of them in the wrong seat. The one ready to stretch gets held back. The one who needs reps gets rushed past them. So we don't run one. It's unique to each resident.
It starts with where you actually are. You already know the craft. That is the price of entry, not the point of the residency. In your first weeks, together we work out what the next thing is, and it is rarely the same thing twice. For one resident it is turning a single gig into a steady stream of work. For another it is the confidence to speak up in a room full of people who have been doing this longer. For someone still learning the unwritten rules, it is the parts of the job nobody puts in a description.
That is what the 1:1 mentorship is built for. It is not a class you sit in the back of. It is a relationship shaped around your real gaps and your real goals, and it moves as you do. The plan you start with in month one is not the plan you finish with. As you get sharper, the work gets harder and the target shifts. We're tracking that in real time, not reading from a script.
The work itself flexes the same way. You are placed on real projects, with real teams, at a level that stretches you without drowning you. A resident ready to carry more gets handed more. A resident who needs reps in one area gets those reps. Nobody is idling, and nobody is faking their way through something they are not ready for.
Meeting each resident where they are is harder to run than a single curriculum, and it is the only version that actually works.
The goal is never to have a cohort of identical residents. It is to take people from different starting lines and move every one of them further down their own, with the skills and the relationships to keep going long after the nine months end.
Wherever you are starting from, we build the residency around it.
